After completing his Veterinary Degree in 2003, Dr Ranjan completed his MBA degree. He then worked in the administrative field, but he found it difficult to live away from his passion for treating pets and understanding animal behavior. He wanted to help & treat patients again and joined Veterinary Field again after moving to Canada in 2008. He has also worked as a veterinarian in Calgary in 2011 while visiting and exploring the extreme weather of Alberta.
Dr Ranjan has been working Locum doctor at many day practices and emergency clinics in the lower mainland and has acquired the Intercity Animal Emergency Clinic in August 2015. Dr Ranjan has a special interest in veterinary ultrasound and has got an Advanced Imaging Certificate of Completion.
He also does mobile ultrasound practice for many clinics in the lower mainland in the name of Skylark Veterinary Ultrasound Service. Dr Ranjan has also completed detailed Endoscopy training to make this service available at Intercity Animal Emergency Clinic. Dr Ranjan has a special interest in the ever-expanding field of feline medicine. He is a member of AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) as well. He also attends various seminars/conferences and likes to learn advanced and better techniques in veterinary medicine. His outside interests include playing tennis, soccer, basketball, hiking and travelling.

Mansi, a skilled veterinary professional with experience serving as both an assistant and manager in animal care settings.
With a deep love for animals and years of experience in the field, she excels in supporting veterinarians, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and delivering compassionate care to furry friends of all kinds. She is dedicated to uphold the management team and foster positive client relationships. She had two dogs back in India, a mixed breed and a German Shepherd named Tiger and Aden. Outside her work, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending plenty of time with her family.

Ramneet has been with us since October 2018. She loves to meet new pets every day and help them and their owners through tough times. She especially loves black cats and back in India she has a 12-year-old German Shepard, named Johnny.
She has a science degree with a major in Biology and is planning on further schooling to become a Biochemist/Biophysicist. Ramneet moved to Canada in 2016 and has two brothers, one of them a twin. When not at work she enjoys playing basketball, traveling, reading, and trying extreme sports like bungee jumping and skydiving.

Erica Watkins, our dedicated Head Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), embodies a profound commitment to animal welfare honed over her decade-long tenure in the industry since 2010.
With her RVT program completed at Sheridan College in Brampton in 2018 she brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Erica joined us part-time in 2021 until she joined us full-time in 2023 as our Head RVT. Erica’s compassion extends not only to her work but also to her personal life, where she cares for 3 cats, one of which has a never-ending list of rare diagnoses.
Beyond her professional duties, Erica’s interests in clinical pathology, anesthesia, and pain management underscore her dedication to excellence in animal care.
In her leisure time, she finds solace in watching horror movies, attending concerts, and collecting oddities. Her multifaceted talents and unwavering commitment enhance our team and the well-being of the animals under our care.

Siddarth has been a VOA at Intercity Animal Emergency since December 2016.
He loves the combination of interacting with pets and providing customer service. He plans to attend schooling to become a Veterinary Technician in the next few years.
Sid’s favourite animals are dogs, and he has a Labrador Retriever at home that he loves. When not at work he enjoys playing soccer and traveling. He moved to Canada from India, where his parents still reside, in 2015.

Bhavesh, a cornerstone of our team since June 2023 at Intercity Animal Emergency, brings three years of industry experience, starting in 2021. While pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Simon Fraser University, he envisions attending Vet School to further his passion for animal welfare.
Bhavesh’s dedication shines through in every aspect of his work, ensuring both pets and owners receive exceptional care and support.
Outside of work and studies, Bhavesh enjoys playing badminton, strumming the guitar, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Gabriela Rojas, our dynamic Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA), brings a fusion of compassion and creativity to her role.
Alongside caring for her two dogs—a spirited Husky and a charming American Eskimo—and her beloved feline companion, she explores her passion for animals.
With a Bachelor’s in Film and Animation, Gabriela’s artistic flair extends beyond her profession. She unwinds by binge-watching series, jamming to music, and capturing life’s moments through her photography lens.
Her multifaceted talents enrich our team and the lives of the animals we cherish. Gabriela’s affinity for small animals is matched by her extensive experience working with them, further enhancing her contributions to our team and the care we provide.
